Kelly Clarkson was an American musician and singer who became the America's sweetheart when she won American Idol in the first series. The victory not only propelled her to fame and acclaim, but it also earned her a multi-album recording contract in partnership with RCA Records 19 Recordings and 'S Records. Since then, she's released a number recordings from her studio. From these that were released, three made the US Billboard 200 Chart while other albums were just a few centimeters away. She's among the top artists to are emerging from American Idol. To be successful she played around with various music styles and experimented on topics. Her work was praised by critics and a number of prestigious awards for her individuality and singing prowess. Most notably she has won the Grammy Award three times. In addition to her musical profession, she has also had a stint in TV and film. In addition, she is the author of the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and is involved in numerous charitable organisations.
